Advanced GPS Navigation Techniques

Work with software tools to learn how to load maps and waypoints, create a trip route and download it to a GPS. Learn to integrate interactive mapping software to improve trip planning and learn about the online tools available for GPS users.
The class will combine outdoor hands-on practice with classroom lecture. This class is not to be missed if you plan on spending any time in the desert! Participants need to provide their own GPS units. Prerequisite: Basic GPS Navigation Techniques or prior GPS experience.
