Hone your route-finding ability with Tee Walsh, in this all-day field class. Under Walsh’s expert guidance, participants will plan their cross-county route for the day taking into consideration land features, terrain, points of interest, and ease of travel. The class will then follow the path of their choice through the desert wilderness. Along the way, Rogers will discuss advanced navigation techniques including triangulation as well as the ecology of the area. Participants will experience the thrill having their planned route unfold over the landscape during the day. The class will travel approximately eight miles with some boulder scrambling.
