Building for the Future

Since opening its doors to the public in 2006, our Joshua Tree Visitor Center has become the park’s most popular “first stop” and has welcomed over 500,000 visitors to Joshua Tree National Park. With the support of donors to the capital campaign, Joshua Tree National Park Association will be able to transfer the Visitor Center property to the National Park Service and into public ownership.

In order to meet the cost of maintaining and expanding the park’s use of the building and facilities, Joshua Tree National Park Association set out to raise $1 million. Your support can make it happen and secure the site for future generations! Your contribution of $1,000 or more will be permanently recognized with an engraved rock on the donor wall that encloses the center’s patio area. Reflecting the boulder formations for which the park is known, these polished metal rocks surround a stylized bronze Joshua Tree.

Contributions to the Campaign for the Joshua Tree Visitor Center are fully tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
