Posted: March 15, 2023Essential Duties and Responsibilities We are looking for a qualified Executive Assistant to join our team. This position will be responsible for assisting both the Executive Director (ED) and the Director of Business Operations (DBO) in day-to-day duties as well as assisting with special events and activities. Duties will also include managing the Executive Director’s calendar, tracking and ordering office supplies, maintaining contracts and contractors, assisting with financial duties and data entry, and performing “boots on the ground” support for fundraising and other events. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, responsible, highly organized, and possessed of excellent communication skills. This position is performed partially at the Yucca Valley office, and partially at the 29 Palms office, and also requires frequent work in the field and travel to different locations. This position is not able to be performed remotely. Posted: Jan. 17, 2023Essential Duties and Responsibilities The Joshua Tree National Park Association (JTNPA) is looking to immediately hire a Buyer with experience in the field of National Park regulated Interpretive items. This is not a concessionaire. All items must represent the Joshua Tree National Park and the surrounding area. Some concessions are in contract, but it is limited. You may be considered for this position if you have experience in government buying and/or experience with buying for multiple small stores/gift shops. (6 total here) I will gladly look at your resume if you are qualified. In addition to your resume, please attach a short narrative of the most positive item you brought into one of your facilities and why you are proud of that purchase. We would like to fill this position as soon as possible as there will be a major convention that needs to be attended in the end of February. This will involve air travel. Travel and per diem costs are covered by JTNPA.
