With funds provided by JTNPA, Joshua Tree National Park will be able to greatly increase its astronomy outreach through Electronically Assisted Astronomy (EAA). This technology will allow the astronomy program to be shared in real-time throughout the world via Zoom or YouTube, granting access to groups who otherwise would not have access to the dark skies of Joshua Tree National Park. EAA will also improve the in-person visitor experience by projecting the astronomy images directly onto the amphitheater screen making the program more inclusive and enjoyable for all.
