Twentynine Palms, CA, March 16, 2020 -

Effective tomorrow (March 17, 2020), Joshua Tree Visitor Center will be closed. While the park remains open, Joshua Tree National Park Association has made the difficult decision to close our doors for the safety of our staff and visitors. Our Desert Institute classes have been cancelled as well, through April 5, and the majority of our office staff will be teleworking until further notice.

With the community’s safety at the forefront of our minds, we will continue to evaluate how to best provide needed services in partnership with the NPS. Meanwhile, please feel free to shop our online store and look for updates at www.joshuatree.org.
